Ordered two expensive 20-spline Grohe handles, received one 20-spline and one 16-spline, which they wouldn't make good on (no returns, no RMAs). Possibly a crusty old dude running a one-man shop -- apparently he counts the splines by taking a photo, then blowing it up! Phone calls never returned, only one-liner e-mails, and even those abruptly stop coming once he realizes he's given you the wrong product. Caveat emptor ...

My bathroom shower faucets are size "H" broach Price Pfister so I ordered Price Pfister Contempra style faucet handles from this vendor online. When I received them they didn`t fit (note: all Price Pfister Contempra handles are designated size "H" broach by the manufacturer). I then took the handles to both Ace Hardware and Home Depot to check their broach spline size with these store`s broach spline identification jigs in their plumbing departments... both handles were identified as size "A" broach. The plumbing staff at both stores informed me that since the handles were cast and mass produced in Taiwan... the workers there probably forgot to change the jig for the spline size when casting different style handles in their metal foundry. When I contacted the seller and informed him of this he stated: "both Ace Hardware & Home Depot`s systems for identifying spline sizes were generic and inaccurate". This is a complete falsehood, the "Alpha" spline broach size designation system has been utilized and recognized as a universal plumbing trade standard for decades. He then informed me that I could just send the handles back through the mail and I would receive a refund, which I did... but he still refused to give me a refund. I reported him to the BBB (better business bureau) for resolution and refund, but he would not respond to them either. Luckily I had paid with Paypal and filed an appeal for a refund through them after providing proof that I sent the items back with a post office tracking number. Finally I received a refund from Paypal after 90 plus days of fighting with this business. This is a warning to all future buyers about this business... this vendor is unscrupulous and should be avoided like the plague at all costs!!!
